Dear Community,

As community managers, we want to say again how deeply sorry we are with the way things went. We have reached out to the developers in an attempt to understand the full situation.

The devs have admitted that ending the project the way they did was an overreaction: there was a large amount of internal and external pressure to save the ship when we all felt it was sinking although many of us here felt like we could have fought harder to pull it back from the brink.

We understand there has been huge damage done to our community. Some community members are trying to gather together to try to salvage what is left. We cannot make any promises at this time, but our intent is to look at what is available, what the options are, and whether portions of the project can be passed over from the devs to the community managers.

Whilst we do not know yet what is possible, we will endeavour to do our best for you.

NOTE: Community managers have also been made aware that individuals and specific groups purporting to be from the Viking Swap team have been posting photos and promising unannounced changes. We are aware that potentially more than one individual has been pretending to be from the official Viking Swap team.

Any changes that are not announced in the official Telegram group and announcement channel, Twitter, Medium, or the website are not official. Again, any other sources of information are false.
